Two weekends of rugby left: 4 and 11 May. The end-of-season family day is on the 11th. Join us to celebrate a great season's action from 12 noon to 4pm (ie after training). Food, tombola, 200ft inflatable assault course (suitable for adults & children), human table football (also for adults & children) and a 12ft bouncy castle (up to 12 years old) should help the afternoon fly by. The bar will also have beverages on offer!

Donations of sweets and gifts for the tombola appreciated. Please get in touch with Una Deed (social@wmrfc.co.uk) if you can help.

Wimbledon RFC Mini & Youth stalwart playing at Twickenham

This Sunday (4 May 2014) Daniel Laventure, a lad who has played all the way from U7 to U18 at our club, turns out for Northumberland in the U20 County Championship final at Twickenham. The match featuring Daniel, against Yorkshire, kicks off at 5pm but the day starts at 11am with four games to be played on the day. With tickets only a fiver for the day on sale on the gate it's well worth a trip to Twickers.

Northumberland's semi final match report is here

His dad, Steph, sent the following pic to celebrate the moment/embarrass his son (you decide which)

U11s Spring magazine is here

See the attached brilliant document showing us all how newsletters should be done.

League success for U17s and U18s

This weekend saw the U18s play their last ever game (a 40-10 friendly win), having secured the Division 2 championship a couple of weeks ago.

The U17s went one better by winning the Division 1 championship, the first time ever for a Wimbledon side. They also have a National Cup final to come!

Pitch plan for this Sunday (9 March)

It's gonna be warm, 16 degrees - great news.

Most of the minis are away to H&F (at their grounds at Hurlingham Park, www.fulhamrugby.co.uk/find-us/, training starts at 10am and there's parking there, too)

Others U6, U7 at home, U8 at Kings, U11 are hosting a squad from Cobham and the U12s are playing a fixture against Esher at home.

The U14s have a league match and the other youth teams are training.

We had expected the U17s to play Tonbridge Juddians in a national Quarter final but they have withdrawn - so Wimbledon are through to the Semis on the 23rd of March.

Plans for Sunday 2 March - training on! **note Sunday morning update**

Training still on but there is a pitch plan update at the clubhouse due to the effects of yesterday's rain. Please check the board when you get to the club

Esher A Festival is on. Parking there is a total nightmare. Suggest you get there very early. See attached files for pitch layout and directions.
U7 & U8 Development Festival at Old Emmanuels is on.
Everyone else at the club. U8 parents helping with car parking

Usual requests for parents: touchlines please don't trample them to mud & parking please listen to and respect the parents helping out (U8 this week). If the car parks are full you'll need to park away from the private roads surrounding the club. Our parking policy is here if you need a reminder of where we request you park outside our two car parks.

A perfect day for rugby. Good luck to everyone at a festival/tournament/match.
