Coaching Courses at Wimbledon Minis & Youth

29th September 08 - 18 coaches attended the new IRB Rugby Ready Course tutored by Martin McTaggart (RFU). After this season it will be compulsory to complete this course prior to taking
Level 1.
1st October 08 - 15 coaches attended our Scrum/Lineout Course tutored by Mick Orton (RFU)
1st October 08 - 21 coaches attended our TAG Intro Session tutored by our own CRC Tobey Seward, and Kingston CRC Ben Stocken

Upcoming courses at Wimbledon will be a Referees Mini/Midi certificate plus a Core Skills evening focusing on handling and warm up. details to follow

Coaching courses general information

For all RFU courses - please can you download and fill in the attached form HERE in advance. If this are not completed and handed to the tutor, then you will not get accredited by RFU. These accreditations will count towards your future coaching licences, which will be mandatory in the near future

Please always supply the age group you are coaching with.
The club pays for all your courses except in the event that someone reserves a place and cancels within 5 working days ( unless we are able to find a replacement )

These courses have been purchased in full by the club; so we may provide good coaching courses at your own rugby club, therefore reducing your need to travel
