It was good to see so many boys back today and a special welcome to our four new joiners.

There is a lot for us to do in these first few weeks before our first match on 23 September, so please try and make the upcoming training sessions if you can. We introduced two new calls today and have others to introduce over the coming weeks.

A special thanks to everyone that paid their subs today. I think we are probably ahead of any other age groups. Thank you.

If you have not already read the introductory letter for the start of the season, please do (If you need me to email a copy let me know). There is lots of information in there about what to expect. One thing which we mentioned was the need for boys to have a Wimbledon polo shirt for matches. I had a chat with Serious Stuff today and will be able to get a better price if we order as a block. I will find out more from them during the week and let you know more next weekend. The shirts that we are looking at are the navy blue polo shirts with the Wimbledon logo on the chest. They are not shown on the website but are used by the first team.
