U10

Dear All,

Another fantastic turnout, and a big welcome to Jack Hammond and Declan Cole as they start their hopefully long and successful playing careers at Wimbledon.

Congratulations this week to Charlie Brown who was awarded player of the week for his excellent rucking and enthusiasm.

Next Sunday we are at home for a fixture against KCS. As always please arrive as early as possible to ensure a prompt start at 10am.

A few housekeeping points:
Please ensure boots are fitted with the correct studs. These are the metal studs (available from sports shops) and not the football version which are plastic with metal tips.
All players should have a mouth guard. Don't forget we have a parent Phil davies who has agreed to make these for us in club colours. He will be taking fittings in the Clubhouse for the next few weeks at 12 pm (after training). In the meantime if you can purchase the "boil and bite" ones from the kit shop.

IMPORTANT new request from the coaches. Please provide your child with a water / refreshment bottle (labeled of course). This is to go with the player to the pitch side during training, so that when there is a break, they can take a quick drink and be straight back to training without too much delay.

IMPORTANT request from me....I know we are a long way from the clubhouse, but PLEASE can you take your rubbish (polystyrene coffee cups and lucozade bottles and the like) home with you. After a long session the coaches and I do not want to be on litter patrol......!

If you haven't already done so PLEASE complete the WMRFC registration form and return it to me (or Lucy Bird this Sunday) with payment for this season's fees. The form is attached to this e-mail, but you can also access via the WMRFC website under how to join.

If you haven't already done so, please ensure you register on the website for the U10 group. These weekly e-mails will soon be a thing of the past and all information will be posted on our website - don't delay.

One final thing, don't forget we need raffle prizes for our Festival in October. All donations gratefully received.

Lucy
