Sunday 16th October Wimbledon B Festival

Given the World Cup is basically over, apart I suppose from those of you that come from the far west of England, the only good reason to get down to the club early this Sunday is to help prepare for the now famous Wimbledon B festival. It will be a big welcome to friends old and new and I know it will be another great celebration of Mini Rugby. Come along and join in the fun.
Usual rules apply e.g. park somehwere else because the car park will be full by the time you get there, say thank you to the U12s for organising the day, try out Mick's barby and special Ales*, play well and have fun. (*obviously some rules only apply to parents not players!)
See you Sunday. John The No' 8

Sunday 2nd October Mini & Youth Start time 11.30.

Please don't forget that in order to allow the Wimbledon 10K runners to get away you wont be able to get into the club until after 11.
That is unless you are one of the wonderful people who are going to help out with marshalling etc if you are get down for 8.30 if possible and well done you.

Sunday 18th September, 11:30am Start for most age groups

Please remember that U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U15, U16, U18 all begin at 11.30am

England v Argentina at the Club, Sat 10th

The clubhouse wil be opening early for breakfast on Saturday to coincide with the first England game in the Rugby World Cup against Argentina in Dunedin. Come down and make use of our fantastic facilities and get some atmosphere for the game.

If you can, let Mik know you are coming to help him with catering clubhouse@wmrfc.co.uk

New Season starts Sunday 4th September

The new season is nearly upon us, with training for all age groups at Home on Sunday 4th September. Usual 9:45 start, new players very welcome indeed so bring your friends!

It will help the club administration greatly if you can fill out registration forms in advance and bring subscription cheques. This seasons updated form is available here

For the forthcoming season the whole club have moved to a new kit supplier called Serious Stuff. Our new kit coordinator, Helen Knight, explains here

Gumshields 2011

Unfortunately new legislation means Phil 'The Drill' Davies cannot have a gumshield clinic at the club this year as it is not an 'approved center'.

Phil can however do the 1st and 2nd of September at his practice for anyone who fancies a trip into town.
Cost will be around £26 with any profit going to club coffers.

Summer Camps 2011

There are two camps being held this summer Ben Gollins, England 7s Captain is holding a camp at the club in the half term break and Harlequins RFC are holding two camps at the club during the July in the summer holidays.
