Do you think it is a good idea for the club to introduce inclusive rugby for those with special needs?

Wimbledon Rugby Football Club are going to be introducing an Inclusive Rugby section at Tag level within our club working with Inclusive Rugby. We hope to get this up and running this season (2013/14).

Inclusive Rugby are an organisation who are working with the RFU growth department and are rolling out programmes across grassroots clubs providing coaching to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities.

We are therefore now actively looking for members to help run this section within the club. Please get in touch if you have experience working with children in a SEN environment and would like to help get this team up and running or are just keen to learn and help out however you can. Please pass this news on to friends outside of the club if you think this might be of interest.

Full training and support will be given by Inclusive Rugby to any volunteers who wish to help as well as Canterbury coaches kit, all free of charge.

I am sure you will agree that this is an exciting opportunity to really capitalise on the inclusive nature of rugby to everyone.

If you are interested please get in touch.
