Performance steps up a level from Wimbledon B Festival a week earlier
A deserved victory for our brave and determined B squad following some great rugby in the glorious sunshine where, once again, sunblock rather than umbrellas were the order of the day. But for a momentary lapse at a quick tapped penalty the trophy above could have been the overall winners’ cup rather than the third place play-off but more on that later (and, anyway, we’re all still very happy!)
