We've had a scarcity of games so far this season, with opposition sides either pulling out or actually folding, unfortunately. However that is about to change as we move towards our first league match on 18 November. We are still down a host of players due to injuries etc, but that seems to be improving. Below is the schedule for the next few weeks. For those of you new to this - the procedure is

a) rapid replies please, even if you're not sure yet on some dates (say maybe and follow up later)
b) reply directly to this email please; I auto-filter the responses so I can keep a handle on this. If you have something else to add, please send a separate mail or I might miss it
c) please reply in the format Date: yes/no/maybe

Registrations - can I remind everyone that players MUST be registered before they can play in a league game. Several of the players took away registration forms on Sunday, these should come back to me with cheques please. If anyone feels they may be eligible for reduced subs please contact me in confidence.

Away fixture at Beckenham
I have discussed this twice with the players now. I fully realise what a pain it will be to travel this far for a game, and what a chunk of Sunday it will take up. However, this club visited us last year with no complaints and we are obliged to reciprocate. If we become known for ducking out of away friendlies - and after 2 or 3 episodes last season that is now a real possibility - then we will find our home games drying up rapidly. So I will be very disappointed if we can't raise a squad for this fixture.
