Effingham promised us a B team (Div 3) fixture and for the first 15 minutes the match was quite even with Wimbledon scoring (Paddy) convertion (Seb) 7 points to their 5 point try. This is of course is very encouraging. Unfortunately the Effingham coaches then used us as a bit of punch bag as they brought on a string of A team players (Div 1/2) which changed the balance and eventually turned into a bit of a rout.

We have had three hard fixtures, we are starting to come together as a team. I think we should win at least two including our first League match providing we can field close to our best team.
