Not all of WM&Y RFC was put off by the snowy conditions this Sunday. The brave under 13Bs took to the field as usual. true they opted not to wear the traditional shorts and parkas and ski suits were very much in evidence, but they did play rugby. Well a kind of rugby, tackles were counted by a successful snow ball hit and other rules were noticeable only be their absence. A suggestion from the touch line was that we should try and get this version of the game accepted for the winter Olympics but until that day the U13Bs remain the undisputed champions of Snow Rugby and that's snow mean achievement. (sorry but you knew it was coming)
Well done to all who took part, great fun and a good workout thrown in for free. Some Piccy's will be added shortly.
See you all next week, maybe?
