Sunday 20th September

Dear All,

This is the first time I'm adding instructions to the website before sending the e-mail, so I hope you are all checking this website regularly!

Congratulations to William Wandt for winning Player of the Week last Sunday.

This Sunday 27th September sees our first away fixture and triangular of the season against Dorking and Effingham Rugby Clubs. These are the fixtures were you hope you have timed your family planning well as the Wimbledon minis are either at Dorking (us and the other even age groups - U8, U12) or at Effingham (U7, U9, U11).

Directions to Dorking Rugby Football Club Ltd, The Pavilion, The Big Field, Brockham, Surrey RH3 7LZ as follows:
From M25 Junction 9 Leatherhead

Follow signs to Dorking. At Givons Grove roundabout (A 24) turn left onto Dorking Road. Go straight on A 24 for 3.5 miles, passing Denbies Wine Estate on your right and then Dorking BR station on your left. At the next roundabout turn left onto the A25 (Reigate Road), continue for a mile and a half then turn right into Brockham Lane. You will see our playing fields on the left. Take the first turning on the left into Kiln Lane and the entrance is first left.

From M25 Junction 8 Reigate Hill

Come off motorway and go down Reigate Hill. Cross over the level crossing into one way system. Keep right and follow signs to Dorking through traffic lights and straight on out of the town on A25, past the Black Horse pub on the left. Continue straight on Buckland Road and then onto Reigate Road for about 3 miles. Turn left into Brockham Lane and then left into Kiln Lane, the entrance is first left.

Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for a 10am start. You must also remember gum shields, correct studs in boots and of course the named water bottle for the refreshment breaks during training.

Next Sunday we have two festivals to attend, one at Kings, and the other at Guildfordian. Please let me know your availability on Sunday, so that the team selection can be made.

This is followed by our own festival is only a matter of weeks away, we need as many volunteers as possible to help with the smooth running. We only have one Wimbledon team entered in our own festival, and traditionally everyone else is at the Raynes Park Playing fields for a training session. But even if your child is not playing - don't forget you can still volunteer to help!

See you on Sunday

Lucy
