Nick Easter our first team coach who joined us at the start of this season has contributed to our successful season so far and we are and have almost always been at the top of our league and are daring to dream of life in the Nationals.
It appears it has not all been one way traffic though. Since working with us two evenings a week and being there on Saturdays whenever he can Nick has enjoyed an unprecedented return to top form when playing for Harlequins.
The link is obvious to us being involved with grass roots rugby at a club like Wimbledon has given him a different outlook on the game and new lease of life. To cap what has been a fantastic season for Nick at both of his clubs he has now been selected for the England Squad and is likely to feature in this years 6 nations competition which are in effect a warm up for the World cup.
In our 150th year we are proud to have such an association and wish Nick and England all the best and expect to see even more new ideas on the training ground next week.
